DAY-BY-DAY MORTGAGE CALCULATOR

This calculator runs a day-by-day simulation of the entire term, to replicate a real UK mortgage. This provides far more accurate results than other calculators which only provide estimates.

 

This is the first version but already it:

​

• Calculates interest daily across the entire term of the mortgage, just like a lender does. This factors in the odd number of days per month, as well as additional days in leap years

• Allows you to input up to 5 interest rates across the full term of mortgage, reflecting when you would or have re-mortgaged

• Allows you to increase or decrease monthly repayments over the mortgage term, so you can see the impact of changing your repayments

• Charges interest monthly on the right schedule based on the start date of the mortgage
